Date: Wednesday. 17th March, 2010
Safety: All participants will be given a numbered tag, which should be handed back afterwards to assist with the safety of the event. Emergency Plan: Will be posted in a suitable position at the Registration Desk. RIB Cover: Currently available: Trident SAC, Dalkey Scubadivers, Curragh SAC, Lir SAC & Oceandivers. (If any club can provide extra RIBs, please contact John Earle at above number). Parking: Parking is very tight in the immediate vicinity of Coliemore Harbour, so we would appreciate if all participants could turn up early and observe official parking restrictions. Please keep access ramp to pier clear for emergency vehicles, which will be marked. Sponsorship Forms: Print attachment as required. Completed Sponsorship Forms with cash or cheques can be handed in at registration or forwarded to the Club Hon. Treasurer. Refreshments: Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be available before, during and after the event, for both participants and spectators (sponsored by Centra, Bray). Perpetual Trophy: There is a competition for the club that has the most participants (actually in the water, or as RIB Crew) in ratio to overall Club Membership. The prize is the Anne Burrows Memorial Trophy, which is currently held by Dalkey Scubadivers. ‘The Club’ Public House in Dalkey: is the official venue for post snorkel food, drinks and most importantly presentation of Anne Burrows Memorial Trophy and Prizes. Raffle: There will also be a raffle for some fantastic prizes with proceeds to the RNLI. Tickets available for sale at registration or in ‘The Club’, in Dalkey, after the event. |
