Hi There,

1) Regulator  and Tank Servicing

Get them in now…. The Workshop is starting to get busy….. Dive season is less than 6 weeks away We can now service MARES Regs

2) Due to requests from Customers I have put together a few dates for some talks on Dive Equipment.

All talks will be held in the Watersports Store in Clarendon Market. Please feel free to pass this information on to anyone that you think will be interested.

A) Tue 9th February @8.00 - HOUSEHOLD  MAINTENANCE ON YOUR DIVE KIT 

There are a few tips on household maintenance which we want to pass on to you i.e.; how to clean your Regs, clean the dump valves on your stab, Valves on suits, Preparing your Stab, Cleaning your suit.. pre-season checks and pre-storage preparation, etc……

 B) Tue 16th February @8.00 - REGULATOR CLINIC

Learn how Regulators work….. Understand the difference between Balanced and Unbalanced… Diaphragm Vs Piston……. Differences between 1st stages, Differences between 2nd stages….. all your questions answered……..

C) Tue 23rd February @8.00 - CYLINDER CLINIC

Covering the different types of cylinders, sizes, charging, pressure, Visual Testing, Hydro Testing, Standards, Reading the Cylinder details, maintenance. This Clinic covers all you need to know about your Cylinder. Use and maintaining your pillar valve. Clinic qualifies for CFT logbook entry

At an Annual General Meeting of Trident Sub Aqua Club held on Tuesday 13th October 2009 a new club committee was constituted.

The committee will commence work in October under the chairmanship of Paul Finnegan. John Earle will continue to act as Diving Officer while Brian Hickey will maintain Training officer role. Dermot Killick will keep equipment officer position and Krzysztof Szukielojc has been nominated to take over PRO function. Secretary position has been accepted by Gerry Pluck and Justyna Gula remains to act as ordinary member.

Start your adventure now by contacting us and we will be delighted to give you a 'Try a Dive' during one of our winter training sessions in the ‘Blue Pool’ Monkstown (Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Leisure Services) on Wednesday evenings. We also welcome people who have gained some diving experience (perhaps on holidays) and would like to dive regularly in Irish waters.
